Terms of Service
Last updated: September 30, 2026
The short version
These terms are between you (the trucking company that signs up) and myTruckOS ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using the app, you agree to them. We've tried to write them in plain language.
What myTruckOS is
Dispatch, accounting, driver pay, compliance and IFTA software for trucking companies. New accounts may be reviewed by us before they're switched on.
Your account
- Everyone at your company shares one login. Keep the password private. You're responsible for everything done with it.
- Give us accurate information and keep it up to date.
- You're responsible for the data you enter — driver records, rates, invoices, pay. myTruckOS does the math and makes the documents from what you put in; it doesn't check that it's right.
Verifying your company
myTruckOS is for motor carriers and the people who run them. To sign up you give us your USDOT and MC numbers (a private fleet or intrastate-only carrier with no MC number says so instead), and you confirm they belong to your company and are correct. Keep them up to date.
- We may check them against the FMCSA register and ask for more proof, such as an authority letter or insurance certificate.
- If we can't verify your company, the numbers aren't yours, or the operating authority behind them is inactive or revoked, we may decline or withdraw your approval, suspend the account, and cancel your subscription.
- If we cancel because we couldn't verify you, we'll refund what you paid for the current billing period. If the numbers you gave were false or belonged to someone else, we don't owe a refund, to the extent the law allows.
- We won't delete your data straight away. You'll be able to export it (see below) for the period stated there.
AI reading your documents
Reading rate confirmations and fuel bills uses an AI service, and AI can make mistakes. Everything it reads goes to a review screen first. Please check it before you confirm — once you save it, it's your data.
Not tax, legal or accounting advice
myTruckOS helps you keep your books and prepare IFTA numbers. It doesn't replace an accountant or tax preparer, and you're responsible for what you file. Expiry reminders (CDL, medical card, insurance, registration) are a convenience, not a guarantee. You're still responsible for your own DOT/FMCSA compliance.
What you can't do
- Use myTruckOS for anything illegal, or enter data you have no right to hold.
- Try to break, bypass or overload our security or limits.
- Get into another company's account or data.
- Resell the service as your own without our written agreement.
Plans, payment and cancelling
There's a free 14-day trial (one truck and 5 AI parses) and there are paid monthly and yearly plans. When the trial ends you choose a plan to keep using the service; your data stays put and you can still download it. What each includes and what it costs is on our Pricing page, which is part of these terms.
- Paddle handles payment. Our checkout is run by Paddle.com, our reseller and merchant of record. Paddle takes your payment, adds any sales tax/VAT, and sends your receipt. Paddle's checkout buyer terms also apply to your purchase.
- Plans renew automatically each month until you cancel. Cancel any time. You keep access until the end of the period you've paid for, and it won't renew.
- Extra AI parses can be bought when you run out for the month. They don't expire at month end.
- Taxes are added at checkout where they apply.
- Price changes: we'll email you at least 30 days before a change reaches you, and you can cancel before it does.
- Refunds are in our Refund Policy.
- Failed payments: if a renewal fails we may limit the account to free-trial limits until it's sorted out. We don't delete your data over a failed payment.
Your data, and leaving
Your data is yours. If you close your account, our Privacy Policy explains how long we keep it and how to ask for a copy first.
Uptime
We work to keep myTruckOS running, but we can't promise it will never go down. It's a small, actively developed product. We'll try to warn you about planned maintenance.
Our liability
myTruckOS is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, we're not liable for indirect or knock-on losses such as lost revenue, lost data, missed deliveries or tax penalties. Nothing here limits liability the law doesn't let us limit.
Ending things
You can stop using myTruckOS and close your account whenever you like. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, is used unlawfully, or goes unpaid, and we'll tell you first where we reasonably can.
Changes
We may update these terms as the product changes. We'll update the date above and, for changes that matter, email you before they take effect.
Governing law
These terms are governed by U.S. federal law and the laws of the U.S. state where we're based. myTruckOS is built for U.S. trucking companies. If you're outside the U.S., talk to us before you sign up.
